Scope of Project

SIWEE works on two main work streams in targeted communities within 3 value chains (Cocoa, Shea and Sorghum) in five communities (Salankpang, Jang Yili, Mba Yili, Nwoa and Dalun Kukuo.

The project is being implemented by OXFAM,SNG, Cocobod, Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana, Vision Fund Ghana, CEGENSA, GEA, Tungteiya Womens’ Association, Challenges Ghana, WiLDAF, Department of Gender, Mondeliz, Kuapa Kokoo Farmers Union.

  1. Built the capacities of women   on cooperative and Business establishments
  2. Trained  our women beneficiaries on Quality Nuts
  3. Trained Women beneficiaries on Quality Butter
  4. Provided women beneficiaries with Protective Clothes
  5. Registered 2 Women Cooperatives with the Registrar General Department
  6. Linked Women beneficiaries to financial Institutions
