Shea Network Ghana (SNG) in partnership with Norsaac, held a dialogue with selected women in project implementing communities aimed at profiling of social and cultural norms that impede women from pursuing economic activities .
The Meeting was held on different days and at separate places with intentions to identify women groups and coach them on how to advocate, develop messaging, influence on key issues and conduct historical profiling of cultural practices and existing religious, social and cultural dynamics. It was a joint activity organized by the two organizations (SNG and Norsaac).
The role of SNG was to get the participants from the various communities as well as all logistics mobilized and to monitor the discussions. The women took the opportunity to bring to the fore, cultural and social issues that are hindering their progress in the various communities.
