On 8th July, 2026 SNG engaged 100 women in the Larabanga community in West Gonja Municipal in capacity building on managing Shea parklands and sustainably. This activity was facilitated by Shea Network Ghana with support from Bio Tropicals LTD.
This activity forms part of the output 2 .1 of the GSLERP. SNG also seeded some shea seedlings in the Achubunyo nursery for early planting in 2027. Participants demonstrated their readiness to leave no stone unturned in the management and protection of Shea parklands in their communities.
They requested 10,000.00 Shea seedlings from the SNG achubunyo nursery to be transplanted on their individual farms under agroforestry management.
